Agreed. But dont forget about craigslist. Yes its got hacks but at least its free. The ebay listings can wind up costing you.

I got in the habit during the hot months of keeping a notebook of what I call "winter work," stuff that doesn't have to be done right now and could be done in cooler months. It's probably easier here, where right now it's 63º out so we're not working in the snow.
I got in the habit of looking for and saving winter work one winter (during the Carter recession) where we worked only one or two days a week.
