    Talking Questionable venting practice

    The installer was creative on this one. He made sure that the pvc pipe did not fall by using the drive cleats as hangers. He wanted good combustion air so he ran the pvc pipe out the wall and right above an air intake louver. However, he forgot to put the piston in the liquid connection at the evap coil. Oh yeah, he didn't check to see if the ductwork in the attic crawlspace was insulated. It wasn't.
    He was lucky that he did the install in boofoo Wisconsin so no inspections.
