Heating a double wide with a furnace in a seperate building!
Sorry have no pics, yet of this one, but went to a church today for a no heat call in their double wide. They have a double wide that they bought from a public school that used it as an overflow class room. To heat this double wide originally there was a through the wall unit in the wall simular to the ones in a motel. Well when the church began using the double wide for a class room they put a furnace in the basement of the church, ran a 8x12 trunk through the basement wall, burried the trunk in the ground and this is how they heat the double wide, no return pulled from the double wide. They were like yeah we installed that ourselves! I used to do just large commercial and industrial service, now that I do residential as well I seem to never run out of new things that i see that i just think what the heck?

Thank you for the pic!! Oh and I found out that supply trunk has one 10x10 register in the double wide, I could not find a crack in the heat exchanger, and surprisingly its not tripping on high limit, could be because its pulling return from the basement of the church where there is very little heat and some very old leaky windows the basement was about 50.
