Post a new boiler/hot water source

With the last storm here, our boiler got fried. my plumber is recommending we replace our three-year old Weil McLain ultra with either a new Ultra or a Navien CH 240. We have an old house with hot water heat, and the boiler is our only source of hot water. What to you suggest?

We have propane, with hot water radiators. The plumber said we could repair it, but we have had problems with it from the beginning, with it needing manual reset at least once or twice per winter. And the repairs are major- needs a new control board and internal circulating fan and controls. Estimate is $$$$ for parts.

Probably a Series 1. The new version is a Series 3.
