    GE 5KSP39FGW452S Condenser Fan Motor

    Hello.

My GE 5KSP39FGW452S condenser fan motor has vents on each end, but, is a 230 volts AC, shaded-pole model. Will it be ok if rain blows on it?

I was wondering since it doesn't appear to have any uninsulated electrical parts which could be damaged by water.

If it IS a "condenser fan motor," then it should be RATED for outdoor conditions.

I suspect you have a BLOWER motor.

The GE site should have your answer.
