    Standby Power Systems

    Does anyone have any information on pending electrical design or code changes in the areas hit by Hurricane Sandy? If so, I'd like to gather some information and share it with others.

    Only speculation from Bloomberg that there will be buried feeders in some areas.


    The most troubling thing I heard was the turning away of help from utility crews from other states who are not union. So, the Sandy areas have only themselves to blame for the persistent power outages that are there NOW.

    Of course, no one on NBC is reporting these deficiencies as being connected to a sitting President, as they did every day after Katrina....
