    883060 true t-stat instructions needed

    i ordered a t-state for a old true 2 door freezer
    i came with a relay and some new wiring, and no instructions..
    true is closed

    anyone got these instal instructions?

    If there is a Grasslin clock in the unit you need the relay. If it's a Paragon you don't. The relay was added because the inrush of current was causing the contacts on the Grasslin timers to weld. Someone here might have a wiring diagram. Wish I could be more help The relay would be located in the chase the compressor pugs into

    it has a regular 8141-00 timer..so i can just replace the t-stat then??

    If the new thermostat is a Danfoss and the compressor is larger than a 1/3 hp, you will need the relay.
