Counterfeit Electrical Products
Counterfeit electrical products have infiltrated nearly all categories in the electrical channel. Do you have first hand experience with this problem? Have you inadvertently installed any counterfeit products?

Yes I have...if "Made In China" = counterfeit. I've had more faulty parts right out of the box "MIC" in the last year than I have in 22 years. Sometimes the new replacement to the first new replacement was bad, right out of the box. The sticking point is...who pays for the labor?

No, but I remember a notice from a couple of years ago about the faux Square D breakers. It is definitely a problem that is likely to get worse, since they have no respect for intellectual property there.
