2013 AHR EXPO-DALLAS
Here's some of what I saw and heard on my first day walking the show floor. Great show, so much to see and talk about. My feet hurt.

I can't believe there was not even one single mention of the HVAC-Talk website on any of the signage or literature at the CB booth!
If more government is the answer, then it's a really stupid question.

Brought nonworking fieldpiece and inficon instruments. Reps are going to repair and send back to me. They say for free, makes the trip very worthwhile.

Yeah, I'm already laying out a plan for a DX cooling system for a video card I use in a distributed computing team competition.

I'm currently using a small chiller to cool it with chilled water.
They are variable speed, 2100 to 6000 RPM.
They told me that they are in the $300 range, with a drive board that can be controlled with a +/- 5vdc signal from any off the shelf PID temperature controller with a +/- 5vdc control output.

The Aspen mini-compressor looks very impressive. I'm going to try to order a few to play around with in the lab.
Mark, let us know how the experiment turns out.The picture in my avatar is of the Houston Ship Channel and was taken from my backyard. I like to sit outside and slap mosquitos while watching countless supertankers, barges and cargo ships of every shape and size carry all sorts of deadly toxins to and fro. It's really beautiful at times.....just don't eat the three eyed fish....
