Hmm Something about the AHR expo that I've found amusing so far.

I got there a bit lat on Monday, so barely even walked 1/4 of the floor area, but so far I've seen at least 10 small booths from Chinese fitting and valve companies with what appear to be the EXACT SAME products, just with different names.

Most of them are just the minimum size booth, one table with some fittings and valves on it, a banner, and a person sitting/standing there patiently as the disinterested lines of people walk by, barely glancing at the items on the table.

    It's kinda sad...

The Chinese company probably sent someone tothe ahr expos and took photos of the quality ones and went home and copied them.

Then come back and display them.

Yeah, I've been to the EXPO twice and it seems as though there were dozens of those Chinese fitting companies with nobody to talk to. I think somebody like Nibco should set up next to them so the uneducated person can see the difference in quality.

I thought it was weird that everything they said over the broadcast was in Chinese. What exactly are they planning that we aren't privy too...

In the Chinese airplanes, the first checklist item is "all hail chairman Mao."

The Chinese have been quite bold about copying products and using brand names as well. Here's a past thread:

I believe they copied a Square D breaker not many years ago, and it caused a great many problems...
