sporlan oil level control
sporlan valve OL-60XL; I got oil flowing up to inlet screen of control but not oil is filling crankcase. I check inlet screen but it not plug up . oil pressure in supply line to control is 40 psi. crankcase pressure is less than that so i believe this oil level control might be clog.
is this control serviceable or do i have to replace it?

Page 6 on this Sporlan bulletin tells how to adjust the control. *Note: I only found this by searching, because I was very curious; I have never actually adjusted one. Good luck.Last edited by trippintl0; 01-27-2013 at 06:48 PM. Reason: forgot link

They aren't field serviceable.
If you've determined that it's bad, replace it.
Don't forget the o-rings.

IV replaced plenty of them, make sure to never go 10 turns from the top or the ball could fall off...

Thanks for the Info. I found a Baker Dis.shop in Doral FL., A manager by the name of Tony Peres. He had one so I arranged to have him fedex the oil level control to us, this is for the 10 hp compressor Copeland. Thanks Tony!! This forum makes me happy because I can talk to other people who are doing the same thing and there always somebody there. This is my face book. Thanks all the people at HVAC TALK.
