    You did not have a dog before you got one so what makes you think you need one now? In addition, I need to know if you have a dog in your house before I allow my kids to come over to play with your kids. I am not comfortable knowing there may be a dog in your house. Gee, what if your kids bring the dog out and play with it and something happens?

    There is no good reason for having a dog! Why would you want to take such chances?
