Went to work on a TRANE TWX030C100A0 and the defrost board has a green light was flashing and making a clicking sound. This is not the original board and the paper work is gone. Anybody know what this means .If I remember right the original board in these units was a lot bigger than this one and had a red light and a wire you moved around to test it. This one has four pins.
That should be the latest replacement control board (Lite Port CNT04368) for the original board (CNT01129).
FLASH RATE INDICATIONS:
1 — Flash/Second = Normal operation
2 — Flashes/Second = Fault A (Low Delta T) Inoperative Compressor, loss of charge, open amb. sensor, shorted coil sensor.
3 — Flashes/Second = Fault B (20 defrosts terminated on time), and Fault C (High Delta T) SOV stuck in heating, shorted amb. sensor, open coil sensor, closed TXV, OD fan motor failure, OD fan on in defrost, undercharged unit.
4 — Flashes/Second = Fault A & C or A & B
