Do you know anyone in the industry? Best way to get into a local 94 building in NYC is if you know someone. What is the extent of your experience? Apply for a job with a controls company like Siemens and meet people in the industry. Siemens in NYC/NJ is actively seeking Service Specialists for work in the city.

Check the local unions and the local supply houses. Do a google search for refrigeration companies and knock on their doors with resume' in hand

Local 30 & 94 for in house services

    638b for building services

With little if any experience don't expect much beyond a helper position.
