Does anyone know if anyone is hiring for a helper or 1st year apprentice in the newengland area for refrigeration. Mass/CT/RI preferably. I have an Electrical and HVAC/R Diploma but I need some hands on and im not getting working at the supermarket haha. Well actually i do some there and the mecanics do teach me some things when they show up haha. But throwing groceries around isn't my kind of thing im more of a mechanical person.

Why are you passing yourself off as a tech if you stock supermarkets? I would go to that market co that sevices your store and ask if they need a grunt.

    Frown smilies

Hey smilies if I were already a tech I wouldn't be looking to become an apprentice now would I? Its not that I had a choice it was a highschool job and now im ready to move on. Besides you would be surprised at the things you learn about supermarket equipment just being around it and seeing how it behaves. Some people on this earth just have to be such well you know what I mean.

Sorry RickyBobby, is this your quote from that thread:

I find a suction and liquid header feeding branching off into two seperate circuits one feeding the egg cooler w/i and the other feeding the meat cooler w/i. well the egg cooler has an EPR valve on the suction line. But the egg nor meat cooler do not have there own seperate solinoid valve. The solinoid valve is located outside on the main liquid line next to the compressor and is controlled by the meat coolers thermostat. But the only thing controlling temp in the egg cooler is the EPR valve. yea this is kind of strange never seen anything like it before don't know if any of you guys have seen this before and what should I do to bring the temp of the egg cooler down a bit just adjust the EPR valve. Thanks
You are playing it off like you are a seasoned tech

Then you reply to another tech as follows:

Unless it was on defrost or somthing but who knows. The manager I spoke to today said there is nothing wrong he doesn't even know why they called us out haha.
Now go stock my tortillas, I'm hungry
