That's ridiculous. How much did they have to pay the inspector to let those pass?

I hear that!!!!! Even a young apprentice would ask "How are we going to put filters in it?"...........Senior Man probably said " That is not my job. only to set it and walk away"
To make things worse, it is five hours away and I am going back tomorrow to find a leak somewhere in the 100 foot line set because it was flat when I went to do start up.
I was contracted to tie on to the existing system with my new duct work and reuse equipment.Solutions Heating and Air, Inc. Jacksonville, Florida "Solutions for All Your HVAC Needs"

You want to take the people who did this by the collar and take your 3 pound hammer and explain some common sense to them.
He didn't bring any lunch home, so they ate him.

You contractor types typically sling mud at us maintenance guys. We're typically the ones that get stuck with this 'stuff' to work on.

Invite the inspector over to the site and ask him for an explanation or a cut.

Not to bad :sly: .. you get on to the unit itself and then slide your belt right in there.
