anyone want to guess who said this:
this is from 2006:
"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America's debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the US Government cannot pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government's reckless fiscal policies. Increasing America's debt weakens us domestically and internationally. Leadership means that, "the buck stops here.' Instead, Washington is shifting the burden of bad choices today onto the backs of our children and grandchildren. America has a debt problem and a failure of leadership. Americans deserve better."Last edited by jmac00; 01-21-2013 at 08:55 AM. Reason: oops it appears Im dyslexic LOL

The only failure he will admit is yours, mine people like us for failing to provide enough tax revenue to fund a properly run government. To that point Obama is graciously going to propose a longer work day for us, so we slackers will be easily able to make his meager demands (don't worry it will only be 24 hours long).

Why shouldn't you work more? There are tens of millions of Americans depending upon you working to support them while they sit at home watching sports on a new flat screen TV eating free food and getting free healthcare. You should be ashamed of your attitude of not caring for your fellow man! Now get back into those fields. The government will provide a source of solar powered head lamps so you can work all night. They won't pay for them--you will and it will cost three times retail but hey, you're supporting Green Technology and saving the planet one polar bear at a time.
Keep the fire inside the fireplace.

Same deal with "trickle down". According to Reagen era Dems, the worst sort of plan for the economy EVER!
That is, until Obama introduces the largest piece of trickle down in history. Then it's the only way to go.
Get used to how they operate. Fingers in the air judging wind direction of the moment."Social networking" is an oxymoron.
