Rechargeable battery set-up
I'm looking to go rechargeable on my AA and AAA batteries.
Anybody have products that have worked well for this? Charging station, battery types, etc.
Thanks

What are you going to use the batteries in?

I am curious too. I want to use rechargeable batteries in my LED flashlights.

Dont buy quick carge unless you dont mind replace the batterys frequently. My advice would be look for a set that gives you a number of carges youll get and has overchage protection.

Any big name rechargeable alkaline batteries and charger would be good for flashlights or radios, but I wouldn't use them in your more critical or expensive tools.

I have been doing this for about 2 years. I have used Energizer exclusively. I found a home/automotive charger that recharges up to 4 AA or AAA in about 20 minutes. The batteries have worked great in my headlamp, flashlight, and meters. However, I would stay away from the 9 Volt rechargeable. They just don't hold the charge very long, and when they get low, they go from low to dead very quickly. I used them in my Digi-Cools and they just didn't last long. I use Lithium 9 volts in the Digi-Cools.
