    I've owned all different manner of Dodge, Chevy, Ford and Toyota trucks throughout the 1970's, 80's, 90's and 21st century and logged well over a million miles crisscrossing the country. Without a doubt my F-150 is the best truck I have ever owned bar none, period, end of my story.
    The picture in my avatar is of the Houston Ship Channel and was taken from my backyard. I like to sit outside and slap mosquitos while watching countless supertankers, barges and cargo ships of every shape and size carry all sorts of deadly toxins to and fro. It's really beautiful at times.....just don't eat the three eyed fish....

    Will it have a real frame underneath it?

    Their next version of the generic white van won't.



    Edit: I just googled the Ford Atlas for more info. It appears that it will still have a real frame. From what I just read, Ford is floating around the idea of making the frame and/or body out of aluminum to reduce weight, but will probably stick with steel to prevent consumer backlash from those that think aluminum is inferior.

    Does the cab need to be removed to work on the engine?.

    I have an Idea lets start making airplanes out of steel sinse steel in superior to aluminum.

    Geez, I thought over 10,000 pounds of towing capacity with a V-6 Ecoboost and 23 MPG was not too shabby. And, I don't pay near as much for gas as I would for diesel.

    unless I could get one with manual transmission I ain't getting one, ever. for work truck I don't mind automatic, for my own vehicle it has to have a clutch pedal.
