Spring Air pillow top mattress sucks. Now I sleep in a hole on the edge of the Spring Air pillow top sucky mattress.
I hear you, OP. I was mattress shopping 2 years ago and my brain was going in circles with all the stores, brands, fancy names, etc. I had no clue. I hate shopping anyway. Wasn't willing to part the big money for a sleep number bed (believe I will next time I'm ready for a new mattress). I wound up going to a very local mattress store that makes their own stuff, no big fancy name brands. Took my back a month or so to get used to it, but I'm happy.

Simmons here. Nice and thick, hard but not uncomfortably hard, great support. While it transfers less motion than your regular mattress, you can't expect to plop down and not wake the Mrs. up (don't ask how I know ). Got it like 10 years ago, we turn it around every time we change the sheets, still going strong, good solid sleep, no back pain. Cost about a G delivered, probably way less on your side of the border, no memory foam stuff.
I broke the center cartiledge in my rib cage twice, sleep number is the only bed I can sleep in any position on. BTW I have it set on 8.
Waterbed for 25 years then went to the sleep number 10 years ago and never looked back. I had the reconstruction neck surgery a few years back due to pinched nerves... Doc wanted to do my back but it's fine since the sleep number.
Don't get shell shocked when you see the price, it's worth every dime and delivered by UPS.
I have only one question snupytcb....
Will this new bed be ready for my arrival in 11 days?

I got the tempurpedic 3 years ago, great bed. Always used to wake up with a sore back, but not once since getting this one. Don't remember exactly on cost, somewhere around 2 G
I got my mattress three years ago for $10 at an auction. It sags so bad that turning it doesn't help at all. I wake up every single morning with back pain. Should I consider getting a new one?? :-)
Pressure mattress are very best for me.My back pain was sever and I go to my GP .He simply advice me to use pressure mattress to overcome the issue.I strictly followed the instructions of my GP and was very fine with my backache.
