I run a Dewalt 14.4V. I bought it years ago,maybe 6? I looked at the new ones and they are half the size of my old one and half the weight on the Lithium models. Ive drop mine repeatedly onto concrete floors from 16 ft ladders and the battery flies off but I cant kill it!! Ive had bad luck with Hitachi and Ryobi. Milwaukee is top notch as well..

I use the 18V black/white Milwaukee drill and impact. A bit lighter than the green 18V, yet more than enough power to do service and install work. It is a bit tight stuffed into my VETO though.
