If you've never installed a furnace you shouldn't try it unless someone helping you is a qualified installer.

no offense, but after 35 installs you should know how to price one. we really can't tell you how without seeing the job. i have had them take 2 hours and i've had them take 12 hours. as been said, no 2 jobs are the same.

As many as are needed to do the job right. Each job should be individually price because each job will have its own requirements to do it right.

    1. there is no standard rule
    2. cause of venting needs
    3. combustion make up air needs
    4. gas piping needs
    5. electrical upgrades required to meet current code
    6. evap coil install, is it clear or is the top of a door way interfere, is it a basement, closet, or attic install, up flow, downflow or horizonal?
    7. does the current tstat work with the furnace or does it needa special one for digital signal?"
this isnt an all inclusive list,
However each line adds costs, thus no standard rules can be applied, unless you are seeking a flat rate rule that is tripple what these jobs should cost
    If you cant cool it
HEAT THE Hello out of it
