I recently installed this software on my laptop, without a hitch. And, it opens. However, when I click on File and then attempt to open an existing job folder (which I copied from a co-worker), the program shuts down. If I create a project and then try to save it, I get an Error Warning that states something to the effect of Microsoft Visual Library C++ buffer overrun. It also states something about file corruption and needing to terminate program. The only way I can get it all to work is by running in the Safe Mode. I run XP Professional Service Pack 2. My co-worker is running a comparab;e setup with no problems. Any ideas? Thanks...gman

The only idea that I have is to use the compatibility feature within XP. To do this, find the .exe file for GX9100 and right click it. Select either compatibility and run as windows 2000 or you may have to select properties first then compatibility and then run as.

Yes, the GX9100 software is used to configure the DX9100 family of fully programmable controllers, which are fairly popular. ...gman
