I guess you may reside in a Mid-Atlantic State with house in the range of ~ 2,200 Sq. Feet

3-ton A/C with higher than minimum (13) SEER
    66,000 BTU input 80% efficient 53,000 BTU/hr output.

One does not really KNOW just by the equipment.

Take care of it and it will (should) perform well for about 20 years.

Actually, it is one of two units, located in East Texas, and in a 3300 Sq Ft. home. The other unit is the same except it is a 3.5 ton unit. I'm assuming that neither of these have a variable speed motor?

not a true variable speed motor, the E in the furnace model # indicates it is a high efficiency "constant torque" motor.

Lennox units with variable speed blowers will have a V in the model #.
