Are you completely crazy corny. I don't know of any "recognized" police union at least in here in the South and certainly not in Tennessee where your's supposed to be living. They have policeman organizations yes but not a recognized union.
I sure in states without the "Right to Work" law they have them. In GA it is against the law to recognize a union of public employees rather city, county or state and I'm sure that prevails through out the Right to Work states including SC where Boots lives.
Please try and put a little effort and finding the "truth" if that is possible corny before you open your mouth and proclaim as "fact" what you think ought to be but isn't. Geez you never learn do you. Thank you, thank you very much"I could have ended the war in a month. I could have made North Vietnam look like a mud puddle."

OK corny I accidently punched a reply on dna's post but I did mean yours. You said in your post:
" But are all...... police departments.... union..... ???
Maybe he found one that wasnt..."
I don't think I miss read your post but I'll cut you a little slack and let you slide. I don't think there are any recognized public employee unions period in the right to work states at least in the South. Just trying to keep you straight there corny.
I worked at a paper mill once which did have a union but I wasn't a union member because of the Right to Work law in Tennessee. The job stewart was always trying to get me to join but I didn't care for the leftest socialist slant of the AFL-CIO. Thank you, thank you very much"I could have ended the war in a month. I could have made North Vietnam look like a mud puddle."

Very funny ace but it is not recognized as a union for contract negotiations by governments in right to work states. You can call anything a "union" but a true "labor union" is recognized by their employer for contract negotiations. Comprende. I hope you understand that. Always glad to help you there. Thank you, thank you very much
