Hello all!
My name is Michael and I live in Florida, I have been in the industry for over 12 years now. I started as green as can be working for a local contractor and attending hvac tech school at night in my beginnings. I eventually worked my way through the ranks to finish college and leave the field as a technician working on machines ranging from mini splits to commercial equipment. My current job of 6 years now is account manager for a large equipment manufacturer. I hope to learn and contribute more to this industry as I grow with it in the coming years!

Hello Michael and welcome.
Moving away from hands-on, it is easy to let your credentials lapse. Hold onto those technial certificates, licenses, etc. You never know when they may come in handy. Its much easier to do your continuing education and pay renewals than to get your state/local certificates back in the future. The requirements never get easier!
Best of luck with your career.
