If you dont have a door, just make one
Previous company replaced evap coil. For some reason the piping connections were in a different spot. Don't worry about the old air handler panels, just tape it up. And the owner called them back to fix it. I would never let them back in my house.

looks like teflon tape on txv. wonder how long that will hold refer.

i have made replacement doors out of sheetmetal never tape
.
dont they know your supposed to use duct tape not fsk?

eh, i've patched some holes with tape in a rush, but nothing like that, thats insane.

Tape door is bad enough but teflon tape on a flare fitting?
By the looks of how much tape is showing outside- any bets on how much tape is inside the pipe?Always drink upstream from the herd
