new r22 drop- ins
I see a bunch of r22 like gases out their.
Can anyone fill me in on your best experience with these new gasses?

Boss purchased some R407c to use on older equipment. Will have to recover remaing R22 before charging. I have not used it yet. Half the cost of R22 according to him.

R407 requires POE oil.
I've not used any r22 replacements yet.

I'm sure we'll use it only on compressor changeouts.

You gotta change all seals as well. Not a huge task on the resi end.

Haven't actually done it yet, and it has not even been discussed. All our refrigerant we use is billable, so why risk it.
