Hey! I am mew on this site. I like reading about heating and ventilation stuff and specifically to discuss about code requirement and interpretation
First question I have is,
Is there any code requirement on putting two different size furnace exhaust?
In order to make legal en suite in basement separate heating system is require and to meet this requirement we have decided to put one 120000 BTU for up stair heating and 80000 BTU for basement
Now, inspector is indicating we have to have minimum 6 feet of distance between two exhaust according to my best of knowledge there is no such requirement in code.
Please see, If some one can confirm the code requirement to follow
