Air Flow Hoods
-Who uses an airflow hood for T&B or diagnostics?
-What model do you like best, and why?
-Is your flow hood personally owned or company supplied?
Currently, I am using an AccuBalance (company supplied) flow hood for volume readings at registers.

I use Air Flow Hood
I use a TSI EBT721. I like it because the meter is removable and records data points. It lets you use the very accurate meter to do traverse readings if necessary.
The hood is supplied by my company.
I also use a TSI VelciCalc 9545 for traverse measurements. I really like it because I can choose which parameteris I want to display and record. It holds 100 measurements in memory. Learning how to use it was a pain however. TSI documents on use really are poor. The designer is obviously not a US citizen and the documents appear to be simply translated by a non-English speaking translator. Hard to follow and get a handle on. I really learned how to operate by "punching buttons" till I got what I wanted.

Good info, thank you.
Gary, I use the Testo 425 for flow and (most) temp measurements and find it very user friendly. I have not played with the TSI unit much but have heard similar reports from others. Can you export data points to a CSV file or the like?

Yes, requires a TSI program. Works great with excel. Also documents the meter and calibration date.
