Just fired my Propane stealer. Tank charges, environmental surcharges, fuel charges. I have two tanks so they double up and I have to call them every time.
I found a local company that give me the tank and only charge for the gallons I buy from them. They also removed the two tanks after pumping them out and set their tank for free. Their normal pricing was .60 less a gallon than my previous stealer who also tried to charge me 800 bucks to replace their old and rusty tank last year.
Just shop around... last I paid was 1.99 a gal plus tax.
On another note:
Internal Revenue 'Service'
US Postal 'Service'
Telephone 'Service'
Cable TV 'Service'
Civil 'Service'
Federal, State, City, & public 'Service'
Customer 'Service'
I thought that "Service" meant a voluntary giving of oneself for the good of others.
But today, I overheard two farmers talking, and one of them said he had hired a bull to 'Service' a few cows. BAM!!! It all came into focus. Now I understand what all those agencies are doing to us.
You are now as enlightened as I.

I like to sit outside and slap mosquitos while watching countless supertankers, barges and cargo ships of every shape and size carry all sorts of deadly toxins to and fro. It's really beautiful at times.....just don't eat the three eyed fish....

Yeah, at least a fellow Houston-Texan did...

The answer is/was tropical foliage plants (non-flowering)... they were the rage back then.
When Jimmy Carter deregulated n-gas... I saw the handwriting on the wall and sold the nursery. Good move... as growers drove each other into the ground and buying plants from the Brownsville area was cheaper than growing them.
Now one cannot keep 12K ft of greenhouses perfectly clean all season... <grin>GA-HVAC-Tech

Quality work at a fair price with excellent customer service.

Dave, are you part of a co-op?
we have a local rural co-op for electricity.
lowest prices in this area. they used to
give dividends...not they put it into a
death benefits fund. so you never get it..
but your family does. The cure of the part should not be attempted without the cure of the whole. ~Plato

yep..your temps would turn me into a popsicle.
summer with low RH..wouldn't be a problem.
my little co-op is very popular. people on large utility
company lines wish they were with the co-op.
a few of my clients have bought property when building
new with the co-op as motivation to move in rural area.
so...general forum people...any propane prices y'all would
share?? sure would like that feedback.
not suprised that La.'s are highest rate so far.The cure of the part should not be attempted without the cure of the whole. ~Plato
