    Probably needs more return

Went on a no heat call today on a 7 month old furnace. Limit switch stuck open. 80000 btu furnace with 10 inch round pipe for return. Then where it goes through the wall, part of the pipe is blocked. 10 in round to 14x14 grill.

Poor returns aren't uncommon, but a single 10" return is ridiculous. If you got the job of fixing it, what did you end up doing?

Poor blower motor? I think the heat exchanger is taking the brunt of the abuse. I wonder if the startup guy did a temp rise?
