Question Two PVC pipes coming out of furnace... one has hole in it? Water dripping... Help!

    Hey guys,

Read some great posts here in the past now I have a question of my own.

I am noticing some water dripping from the bottom of one of the PVC pipes that exit (enter?) the furnace. Originally I was worried I had a leak at the roof and it was following the pipe down but today I notice one pipe has a hole in it and I believe condensation is running out also the higher parts of the pipe feel dry.

This seems wrong to me, either the exhaust or intake pipe is in the house right? Neither of those seems proper.

Please let me know if it makes sense for this hole to be there.

    Thanks you much,
    -Ben

Combustion test hole. it should be sealed. You can use caulk to seal the hole.

Or better yet, clear packing tape. Most homes have some 200 mph tape around the home.
