Lennox Package Unit Model# TGA120S2BH1Y (Gas Heat) NO HEAT
My partner went on a service call for this unit because the heat wouldn't come on. It has 2 boards on it and the board with the indicator light is blinking 3 times. On the unit, it says that if the light is blinking 3 times is is usually flame overthrow but he checked it and it checked out ok. He has ordered a new board but we are hoping someone has info or troubleshooting advice on this unit. We're not too familiar with Lennox units.

I think it is rollout. Does that have the manual-reset rollout in it. Where the terminals corroded and not making a good connection?

If that's the case, there is much more that needs to be checked

The 3 flash code - Flame Rollout Switch Open or Prove Switch Open or Closed.
The Flame Rollout is a 290ºf (+/- 12ºf ), manual reset switch.
The Combustion Air Prove Switch closes on negative pressure fall, showing the inducer motor is up to speed before allowing the ignition sequence to continue.
Did you have the door/panel back on burner compartment when you were testing?
Did you do any testing of the combustion blower or it's capacitor?
Sorry, but I don't post manuals in this "OPEN" forum.Instead of learning the tricks of the trade, learn the trade.

I always check the circuit path from the molex plug connection(s), just because the roll out is closed doesn't mean it's finishing

Even the T series has a wiring diagram. I would follow it and everything should be clear. What is the serial number?[Avatar photo from a Florida training accident. Everyone walked away.]

It`s better to be silent and thought the fool; than speak and remove all doubt.
