    I have messed with some RTUs, I don't think I will be pulling the door by the condenser looking for the electrical like on my first few.

    I have to admit I'm lost lol you from reefer to controls is like me from install/resi service to straight up resi commercial. If you have digital gauges I accept donations lol

    It only takes a minute to glance at the meter on the ground before you set the ladder and climb up with your tool bag when you get a general no heat on an RTU with no specifics and clueless employees ("the tstats not working").

    Don't ask me how I learned this simple step...

    We use mostly triangle tube and some crown.

    One advice I'd give too would be to look over the diagrams before you start troubleshooting and "study" it. Know what controls what. I have a bunch of "if-then" things I ask. Develop a system that works for you and make sure you check the easy stuff first. Lack of experience usually equates to trying to come up with the most complicated answer you can come up with when really it's some simple most times.

    Do you carry a tablet or pc?
