How efficient are ArcoAire systems?
Last summer I had a guy come out and do some troubleshooting on my ArcoAire system. In the course of the discusstion, he told me that if I upgraded my compressor outside to a more efficient (and expensive) unit, that it would blow 125 degree air inside the house even if the temperature outside was only 15 degrees. I had never heard of heatpump units being that efficient, but I thought I'd check with the the folks here to see if that is true.
So is that true, or am I being snowed?

Lotta white stuff out there today!
Unless airflow is very low to the point of harming the equipment, I can't fathom an air source (or even geo) heat pump putting out 125° air. Especially air source at 15 out. Even with very mild outdoor temps, say 50s, usually the best you'll get from a heat pump with proper airflow is 30° rise so 70 return, 100 out.

I think he was blowing some smoke at you. 125 degree discharge air at 15 degrees outdoor temp, NO.
