    You younger guys aren't aware of this, but at the time of this Christmas TV special, there were only three TV networks, and nearly every single person in America had seen this program. Critics said it would fail miserably, yet for decades it was a Christmas favorite.

    It contains an unabashed explanation of the true meaning of Christmas. Today, only a small number of children have seen it, and most guys your age never have, either. It is a message that some have succeeded in erasing from the lives of Americans, and in many other countries, as well. And then, we wonder why there is an increase in violence and depression.

    This is a small segment of that TV special. Enjoy it, and remember that we were once a people that embraced this message of hope and peace.

    The picture in my avatar is of the Houston Ship Channel and was taken from my backyard. I like to sit outside and slap mosquitos while watching countless supertankers, barges and cargo ships of every shape and size carry all sorts of deadly toxins to and fro. It's really beautiful at times.....just don't eat the three eyed fish....
