Your crazy ace. The only reason the commie loving Dems want to raise the dept ceiling is so they can give more money to those who never want to work and who vote for them and live like parasites off of those who do and not to pay our soldiers a decent living. We are talking about the Dems who only love socialism not not those who strive to do better. Thank you, thank you very much

How about work camps?
If you are not capable of taking care of yourself... they you can live in this camp, in a small cabin. You will work a given amount and in return be taken care of (minimum levels), and given a pittance of credits to be spent at the camp store. Every 3 mos you will be reviewed to see if you are fit enough to leave.
And the camps need to be as tough as Joe Arpio's prisons... Being a ward of the govt needs to be HARDER than successful private life.GA-HVAC-Tech

Respectfully I disagree.
Seems BHO and his cronies seem to have the upper hand of sound-byte opinion (that silly world where a cute catch-phrase is seen as truth without thinking it through).
IMO what the GOP is doing is telling BHO and co: OK, you do not like what we do... do something yourself.
It is easier to criticize others... than to take action... and so far public opinion is on the side of the criticizers. So why take action when you will only be criticized... Why not instead throw the ball into the court of your opponent and make them take an action so you can criticize them?
Kinda like the DEMS have had the GOP on the defensive... now the GOP is putting the DEMS on the defensive.
Should it work for both sides the same? We will see if the public is smart enough... or they are blinded by silly little immature sound-bytes.GA-HVAC-Tech

The bottom of the cliff is the only place both sides will be able to get some of what they want and save face with their respective bases.
Relax. We've been doing this for over two hundred years. The ramifications of the fall will be fleeting as they will resolve it quickly enough.
The more things change...

I am a big believer in spending cuts. I have had to lower prices to sell more during this economy so let's cut the excessive spending and waste. In terms of taxes, the whole system has to be overhauled. Many big wigs have viable answers but the handful of politicians that refuse to budge hold are future in their hands, which is awful

Service calls submitted after 3PM will be posted the next business day.
I give free estimates [Wild Ass Guesses] over the phone.
I am not in business to make money from other people so that I can afford to work for you for free.
If the fall is over, mmmm let's say, 6 feet or so,.. I do not 'bounce' very well.

Your attempt to put emotion into your argument failed.
If the debt ceiling is not raised the government must work within it's means.
What a novel idea!
Both sides in Washington use emotion ( like you just tried) to force their side of the argument. The troups will get paid and essential services will be preformed.
It would be refreshing to hear anyone talk about what is truly good for the country. Instead of acting like teenagers and saying, I want, I want, I want.
I wish I could run my household budget like the U.S. government runs theirs.
My baseline budget is the total amount of money I spent last year (and that was based on the total amounts of money I spent the year before), pluse X% more.
NO BASELINE!!!!!Life is too short, Behappy!

Glad someone caught that.
My thought was if folks ARE gonna be on the public dole anyway... make them work during the day for the things they get. Kinda like the CCC back during the depression.
Personally... you all know GA is for removing ALL govt safety nets... putting charity back in local VOLUNTARY hands... and allowing folks to literally STARVE to death if they refuse to work or go along with what charity provides (and the conditions of receiving it).GA-HVAC-Tech
