So you deal with a lot of oil heat, and boiler and chillers I am sure ? My wife and I (and the kids would love to be in that area) I think up that way I am out of my league ? You know comfort bracket I should say, but what a nice landscape you all have. We are slower than usual but I think things may pick up once the allowances are turned back on.. ...
Yea, its slow here.
The cold weather helped a little, but it wasn't cold enough, long enough.
I know that companies are closing down, and even a supply house, that's just locally. I am praying that things will pick up. I was with my last company for three years short of Christmas I was let go and the doors closed. I am on my own now but things are slow and steady.
In a 410a class they told me due to high velocity of the refrigrant you dont need p traps ????
Well I have heard it both ways and it comes down to the indoor being above or below the outdoor coil, (HP). I think that you should depending on the situation contact the manufacturer to cover your basis, in my case, Nordyne has recomended that an inverted trap be installed because the indoor is at best an undesirable distance vertical to the outdoor unit. So tomorrow I will cut out an existing trap and replace with an inverted trap above the indoor unit.
