    sounds wrong..... you should of been paid .......
    it was working.... played with it.... now its broke.... whats the going hourly rate for HVAC repair

    according to payne the warranty starts from the date of install if documented by invoice or permit or by registering the unit. If none of those its 90 days from the date of manufacture.

    I would say date of install, that's what we and anyone should do. Once it's installed it's there property liked stated. If you did a charity job for free would the warranty last forever?
