Your 10/22 is on the ban list, to, Brian. It's a deadly and nasty, naughty assault rifle.
And like a good little sheeple... he will dutifully turn it in. And whine to no end the rest of the country does not do as he did.

I wonder if Brian has ever thought anyone other than himself might know something he does not...

Guns prevent an estimated 2.5 million crimes a year or 6,849 every day. Often the gun is never fired and no blood (including the criminal’s) is shed.

Targeting Guns, Dr. Gary Kleck, Criminologist, Florida State University

Every day 550 rapes, 1,100 murders, and 5,200 other violent crimes are prevented just by showing a gun. In less than 0.9% of these instances is the gun ever actually fired.

Nope sorry, you have the wrong DOJ.

Yes, that would be the NRA/Fox view.

However these peer-reviewed papers clearly refute Kleck and his deeply flawed work.

lets just take a random sample shall we:

    #5 The Berkley Media group

Prepared for the "Strengthening the Public Health Debate on Handguns, Crime, and Safety" meeting,
October 14 & 15, 1999, Chicago, IL, with support from the Joyce Foundation

OOOh ya no bias there, you could not have picked a more ravenous anti-gun group on the planet. Isn't this the same group that just like to make s up and they go.

    Good one.

The weapon was legal and he protected his property, said Rochester Police Chief James Sheppard. "We're thankful that no one was injured," he said.

Ut-oooh, scary AR-15 saves two lives............add two more to the list of people saved by scary black rifle.

There goes a couple more stats

ya, except the NRA has nothing to do with it, and Mr Kleck is a well respected criminologist. And the BATF statistic are irrefutable, you have Liberal biased anti-gun groups trying desperately to justify a unsupportable position.

I could see where you'd be frustrated

It amazes me that libbies will spew out their hatred for a news outlet like Fox News without showing us why they believe that Fox News information is not accurate. If the information is accurate, just what is it that would cause libbies to "hate" a news outlet?

My guess is that libbies hate hearing the truth.

It is interesting to note that the anti-gun bleeding heart liberals often secretly own guns. Betcha that is the case in this very thread! Ya see, the real deal is that they want to own them but don't want others to have them. Real Americans actually promote the second amendment for all of us to equally enjoy.

Just as you think your experiences are more valid than mine. But don't forget that you still belong to a very minority class that feels a need to carry.

And nobody will ever come knocking on my door asking for my 10/22.
