It's the new twenty three SEER unit.
Sweet piece of machinery. Another dealer told me there was a problem with a board in the condensing unit that Nordyne has a fix for.
Can't speak to it cause there is not much of a market for it 'round here. But just for sh!ts and giggles I asked the wholesaler about it and he was acting dumb.

There's no other condensor I'd rather install. It's amazing to me they don't advertize as being a very quiet condensor compared to the competition.

Should have said I'm not talking about the 23, just the 14 SEER 410 unit.

As I recall, Nordyne headed the list for equipment reliability among ALL manufacturers.
Of course, the installer, etc., has an even larger impact.
When the IQDrive comes out in a heat pump, I will one of the first in line for one!
I was considering the Nyle CCHP, but came to my senses. Performance isn't everything, and that unit screams in efficiency. But there are reliability problems.
Personally, I think inverter rotary compressor units are the future.
Still, it's nice they have the reliability reputation AND are pursuing the technology leading edge with that in mind.
IMHO...
John
