Carrier Packaged unit 48GS LP kit?
merry Christmas!
we just did a check up on a Carrier 48GS-024060301 installed 2003 by another dealer. Here is the weird thing. The unit is set up on natural gas and the home owner has LP. I contacted the local supplier and they were not able to locate a lp kit. All they could find was an lp pressure switch and 3 spud orfices. I did find the installers guide online. On page 7 it starts with the gas piping. 3rd paragraph it says for natural gas applications it says do this.......and no notes at all about lp applications. Anyone know? The unit is running clean.

look on page 20 under the heat input chart.
now wipe under the outlet manifold and see if there is a factory sticker "LP gas only"
It`s better to be silent and thought the fool; than speak and remove all doubt.

This particular unit has the same manifold pressure for Natural Gas and LP - 3.5" wc.
