if i remember right Addison was bought out by Rheem when i was selling them with the Addison name on them. then after that i could not get a addison with addison wrote on it but have Rheem wrote on it. the last addison i sold was about 1989 when Rheem bought them out.
Now i will say this , Addison was the best equipment known to man but after Rheem bought them out , my thoughts have changed.

addison
i worked on an addison 20 ton packqage,
there nice units, the one i worked on
was for a laboratory,hot gas bypass all
the bells and whistles,really nice system

Addison is garbage,I have never seen a more poorly built unit than Addison.

Could start with the poorly designed blowers, then move on to any other poorly built part of it. I would hope that you are not trying to defend them, don't think you will find much support in that effort.
