    UA: How about Service Trades?

To all the UA members: We've been talking about Building Trades, Metal Trades, Divisional Trades, etc. What about Service Trades? Think about it HVACR Techs, BAS Techs and maybe even Plumbers (Service Plumbers, that is). We'll show them!

many locals, including mine already have a very viable service force in place, with training programs. What exactly do you want to show them? I use a mix of pipefitters and high tonnage service guys in my company. The fitters are a great second set of hands in service and have fully stocked trucks with tooling. The service hands are good for helping with crane lifts and the like when doing rooftop replacements. Since we do turnkey projects, its nice to have that mix of both kinds of guys in house. I am a fitter, who took all of the service classes at night and worked in service for years, and to a degree can do both.

Probably a dumb question but; what's UA?
