    Hmm

Any one know where I could fine a 10 seer condensor unit
    Make: Armstron High efficiency 10
It's a 2 tone unit. I will try to find the exact # numbers for anyone who may know where I can find it. It has a junkl compressor and Copeland doesn't make a replacemnet for it.
    Thanks

How old is it??? Someone will have a compressor for it, even with different piping. 10 seer's are hard to come by, expect to pay premium, as the contractors scarfed them up. If yours is over 10 years old, replace both with higher seer IMO.
If everything was always done "by the book"....the book would never change.

Ya good luck on that one. Would be worth more then a 13 seer now if you even could find one.

    so you want ten SEER?

    Welcome to our world.

Somebody has a comp for that unit. Keep looking.
It'll be cheaper to repair then replace, at least in this case.

    Thanks

    What are the colors?

2 tones is 2 tones. Copeland might not make an EXACT replacement, but they make a 2 tone that will work.

Hummm ... probably can get one on the black market. I think if you dicker with them you could trade 2 of your kids for one unit........ that would at least leave ya one.

Depending on what your wifes like ...... you may not have to give up any of the kids.

See if you can locate and post the #s from the old compressor. I'm very sure someone here will be able to recommend a functional replacement even if it isn't a Copeland. Should be easy to pick up at a local United Refrigeration.
