This is my home project, 75yr + wood boiler 18" high and holds one gallon of water. Still has coal grates (original) picked this up from one of my customers.I'am a HVAC contracter in Mass.Connected to my existing first floor A/C air handler by adding new coil 20by20 1" C.Use old B4 filters for fuel and start up.

Bet the neighbors love you when you fire that baby up with the oil filters. Not to mention if you live in a state like mine you need to worry about someone from the EPA or the DNR seeing what you're burning.
Did you contact the Smithsonian to see if they had this one in their collection? Might be worth $$$$$.
Like the ductwork job.... how have you mastered the air jumping the gap? Or is that the new see through flexible duct connector stuff I've heard about?
Just kiddin...... Looks very professional and will look even better when you get the drop on that relief valve.
One little thing you might wanna consider though.... the stove pipe leaving the boiler should be reversed so that the crimps are headed TO the boiler. That way if there is any creosote production it won't run out of the pipe, but back to the fire.
You did ask for comments. Like the doll in the air handler picture acting as a smiling supervisor.

Looks like you have the hydro coil on the return of the air handler.

need a drop on the relief valve.
Also didn't see a isolation valve on the boiler supply.
you need a backflow preventer.

Didn't say "home project" complete.
as to burning old filters, normaly use only two at a time to start wood fire than add coal.
Used high temp silicone to seal smoke pipe connection.

Acually, dont need backflow because I have 1/2" ball valve as feed, no 1156 reg. (positive shut off)

We're required to have one, evenif it is manual feed.

Incase the house water pressure is lower then the boiler when someone tries to add water.

Different areas, different codes.
