The old piping a looks terrible, had to be DIY. New looks really clean, nice job.

Gotta love PEX. Can repipe a 3 story house in under an hour

You can use a heat exchanger to separate the iron side from the pex side of system. If its a benefit.

I have used indirects as the heat exchanger on many of these less then properly done jobs with great results. Although I have mostly done commercial work. Cost didn't matter. Indirect on a 256 tekmar for reset.
