The Nitty Gritty Details About Your Next Service Truck!
2014 full size Transit, FOLLOW THIS LINK.
I am not crazy about the 150,000 mile severe duty life cycle. Also, from the side it's super ugly. Scroll down for wheelbase length and body sizes.
Pretty interesting stuff.

What does a "severe usage service life of 150,000 miles" mean, and how does that compare to the current vans? I think I like the different roof heights, but you are right, they are F-UGLY! When are they supposed to start showing up at dealers, and how long before they quit making the Econolines?

That is by far in the top 3 ugliest vehicles I've ever seen. I'm glad I drive a truck, I'm looking at a ford raptor as my next ride, probably stick with a Chevy silverado though.

30mpg. 4 cylinder. Fully loaded service vehicle.

A buddy of mine installs fire systems and their fleet went from Econolines to the small Transits. No room, no power, and drive bad in the snow. They stock less in the trucks and spend more time running for parts.Local 597 Service Fitter

Once you see the biggest version it kind of looks like a ford sprinter.

I like to sit outside and slap mosquitos while watching countless supertankers, barges and cargo ships of every shape and size carry all sorts of deadly toxins to and fro. It's really beautiful at times.....just don't eat the three eyed fish....

I'm just glad they're making a low-roof version for those of us who have to get into downtown parking garages. I don't think it looks that bad, and if the interior is laid out a little nicer with more room and more ergonomic placement of things, then it's an all-around win for me. If it's more fuel efficient than the ol' econolines, that's a big plus.

The Dodge kinda looks like it's a little sad, like it's frowning or something.
