If the lineset is precharged there's nothing else you can do, if he would've moved the unit so the lineset fit, the electrical would've been to short.

that's standard procedure, clowns can't think to lay that loop down.

Is there a King Valve on it? if you took an oil pickup line back to the compressor and installed a check valve and sight class it would be perfect!
